YAP Giving Kids A Chance
YAP Youth Assistance Project is a UofN ministry that offers poor and needy youth a chance to finish their middle and high school education. The students are given housing, food and additional studies for free. On December 31 we received a call from one of the fathers in the slum saying, "Come quickly! We just had our baby boy!" The mom looked up at us and said that there was a reason he was born in the month of Jesus and that she would like us to name him! What an honor!!
