Five years ago we launched the very first Discipleship Training School (DTS), known as Youth Leadership Training School (YLTS) in Cambodia. With the Youth of Cambodia being on the hearts of many world wide, along with the desire to see them grow in their knowledge and relationship with God, this DTS was birthed.

In May 2008, our most recent Discipleship Training School (DTS – Youth Leadership Training School) wrapped up in Phnom Penh. Our next schools begins in October 2008 and will be an "international/bilingual" school open to Cambodians and foreign students as well. Please pray bout joining this once in a life time adventure!

Discipleship Training School is an intensive 12 week lecture phase followed by an 8 week outreach phase – all centered on knowing God and making Him known. January 2003 marked the first YLT in the capital city of Phnom Penh, with 15 Khmer students and 7 dedicated staff from various nations. 16 students, 2 being foreigners with a heart to serve in Cambodia, attended the second school in 2004. From the February school 2005 there was nine graduates. The January 2007 DTS in Battambang had 28 students as well. Our most recent Phnom Penh school had 9 students.!

If knowing God more, helping others to know Him more, hearing His voice, restoration, forgiveness, identity, godly relationships, spiritual warfare, missions, and God's Word (the Bible) make your heart beat with anticipation and passion, then join us in prayer if YOU should be a part of the upcoming bilingual (English, Khmer) DTS.

The YLT is divided into a lecture and an outreach phase:

Lecture phase: During the first three month the students receive teaching focused on our relationship with God, who He is and who we are in Him.

Outreach phase: The last 3 months is outreach phase, giving the students the opportunity to put into practice the things received already. They travel to different provincial areas within Cambodia, ministering to the poor, bringing skills in areas of discipleship, performing arts, health care, children’s programs and much more. Not only does this minister to many and open doors to share more of God’s love, but in turn released many students in their gifts, challenging them to step out, trusting God for all. This is always a thrilling and life changing time.

When asked what was the most meaningful thing for them in the YLT some of the graduates, now staff, responded.

“ YLT for me was a time of building my foundation in God and learning of His character and ways. I feel more equipped now to go out and share with those around me of the love and life found in Jesus Christ.”

“ YLT changed me in many ways. I now feel more self controlled and able to walk in God’s character with His strength and not my own. Even my friends told me there is a change in me since YLT and they say it is good.”


Our Vision
To train and equip the youth of Cambodia, while developing a compassionate relationship with God, being transformed in character and released in their giftings to serve.
