Khmer Staff

God is rapidly transforming the nation of Cambodia, and we are so excited to be a part of His work here. More and more young Khmer (Cambodian) disciples are following His call to serve Him in this place.

As of now, 80% of the population is under the age of 30, and we believe the nation of Cambodia can be changed in this one generation. God is steadily building His kingdom and raising up young Khmer leaders. Most of them don’t have any support and we hope that will change soon.

As we all seek God’s direction and are obedient to His calling, we can face challenges. Right now these Khmer staff are in need of financial provision. As Christians we are called to do what we can to further His kingdom, and this is an excellent way to be a part of His work in Cambodia. See our list of staff below by location.

Phnom Penh Staff

Rady Huch

Currently: Doing SBS at YWAM Montana. Most likely will help start SBS in Cambodia and train YLTS staff as well. Former DTS staff
Age: 26
Province: Kampong Thom
Vision: Discipling Young People and Mobilizing Churches
Fun fact: He likes to eat small frogs

Lee Ming

Currently: Working with the Youth Assistants Project in Phnom Penh.
Age: 36
Province: Kandal Province
Vision: Want to be a missionary and serving God
Fun fact: He likes to visit the mountain areas

Chenda Mony Ek

Currently: Works in Phnom Penh in accounting and doing graphic design work. Former DTS staff.
Age: 25
Province: Kampong Thom
Vision: To see Cambodia’s Youth growing in Christ and living sacrificially, being holy and pleasing to God
(Rom 12:1).
Fun fact: She likes music

Sokly Eam

Currently: Helping with our Teams Department (SVI) in Phnom Penh.
Age: 22
Province: Phnom Penh
Vision: Sokly would like to be a counselor someday.
Fun fact: She likes to eat, hang out and sing and she likes to give cousel!

Sam Piseth & Samol

Currently: Working with Children at Risk team in Phnom Penh. He wants to build the Children Comunity Centre in Takeo Povince

Province: Kampong Cham
Vision: To lift children up so that they have an education and a relationship with Jesus.
Fun fact: He loves to go to the beach.

Batttambang Staff

Bunsom Chhorn

Currently: On staff with YLTS in Battambang. Wants to continue being staff with YLTS in the future.
Age: 20
Province: Kampong Speu
Vision: He wants to help bring restoration to the youth in Cambodia.
Fun fact: He is an artist, and even made a drawing, which was used on the Cambodia DTS business card.

Moses Mom

Currently: YLTS staff in Battambang.
Age: 23
Province: Kampong Tom
Vision: Simply to share the gospel with Cambodian people of all ages and from all walks of life, in obedience to God.
Fun fact: He changed his name to Moses when he became a Christian.

Dina Sor

Currently: Co- leading the YLTS in Battambang. He will be leading YLTS in Phnom Penh in September 2007.
Age: 23
Province: Phnom Penh
Vision: To see DTS in every province in Cambodia.
Fun fact: He speaks Cambodian, English, Korean, and is learning Thai.

Umong Oun

Currently: YLTS in Battambang
Age: 22
Province: Kampong Cham
Vision: He hopes to help the youth stop getting high on drugs and other worldly things, and be high on Jesus!
Fun fact: He loves to go fishing.

Sopheak Tan

Currently: YLTS in Battambang.
Age: 19
Province: Prea Vihear
Vision: God has put it on her heart to serve Cambodians and help them in whatever way she can so their basic needs are met.
Fun fact: She loves to drive fast in the cool weather.

Samneang Tan

Currently: YLTS in Battambang.
Age: 23
Province: Prea Vihear
Vision: Serve with YWAM for the next 2 years.
Fun fact: She is constantly singing worship songs all through her day.

Seang Ly

Currently: YLTS staff in Battambang but also works in with the Teams Ministry in Battambang too. He would like to take IBC in Kona someday.
Age: 24
Province: Battambang
Vision: To see the poor people have hope in their lives.
Fun fact: He wants to learn how to ice skate someday.
